This is the product of much research into the construction of the original Selmer/Maccaferri guitars of the 30’s. It has sonority, complexity and louder volume characteristics that are different from archtop or flattop guitars. It also mikes extremely well. Cedar top, soft curly maple sides and back. Mahogany neck with 26 3/8″ radiused ebony fretboard. 1 7/8″width at nut. Ebony bridge and .030 brass tailpiece. Arched top, back and ladder bracing identical to original Selmer models. Various wood, finish and pickup options to suit individual requirements.

For those who prefer a smaller guitar, with a big balanced sound. Perfect for the finger stylist. Spruce top, highly figured Curly Maple sides and back. 3 piece Mahogany neck, 25 1/2″ scale, 1 3/4″ neck width. Scalloped braces, arched top and back produce plenty of volume. Various pickup options available.
