A reproduction on the early "Gibson Alrite" mandolin with scalloped X bracing. It posesses a warm and sonorous tone associated with the early oval hole, turn of the century mandolins with plenty of volume. Spruce top, curly maple sides and back, mahogony neck with ebony fret board and ebony (one piece) compensated bridge.
