This instrument is unique in the respect that the carbon graphite reinforced tone-bars do not touch the top. Two violin type “sound post nodules” are designed to move freely on the tone bars which enable the player to “tune” the top to their particular tastes. This instrument narrows the gap between archtop and flat-top and can be of use in any musical setting. It provides excellent tonal balance and plenty of “meat” in the upper register. 17″ body width.
